Accommodation

We list possible options for accommodation. We recommend that you book your accomdation early, if possible a few months before the conference date as mid-June is the beginning of the tourist season.

The Observartory runs an accommodation center for guests. The local staff has reserved 40 rooms for our conference. We have  also booked the 15 rooms of the Hotel des Pecheurs, located next to the conference venue. Those rooms have a private bathroom but offer only simple comfort. They are available free of charge to conference participants on request.

You can book a room at Chez Camille, which is located next to the conference venue.  Hotels Le Catalan and Coté Thalaso are within easy walking distance of the conference venue.

Additonal Hotels are futher away but you may not need to rent a car. You can check with the Hotel if they are close to a stop of the bus line connecting Banyuls-sur-mer to Port-Vendres and Collioure.

You may also consider renting a small appartment in Banyuls. There are many offers, in particular on  Booking and Airbnb.
